The Duet works well for growing families on a budget, ADU builders who want a rentable two-bedroom unit, and land owners in Fresno, across Texas, and throughout Florida who need more than one sleeping space but aren't ready for a full-size home. It's a practical middle option: more livable than a one-bedroom, more affordable than a 40ft unit.
Delivery works the same way across every Cockahoop model. Your Duet arrives folded down on a flatbed truck. You arrange a crane or forklift locally to offload it and set it on your prepared pad or foundation — we send exact weight and lifting specs ahead of time so you can book the right equipment for the job. Once positioned, the structural shell unfolds into its full 2-bedroom layout — this expansion step uses lifting equipment and a small crew, not something done by hand with one or two people. From there, you or your local contractor connect water, electrical, and sewer/septic, guided by the included circuit diagram and installation instructions.
The Duet ships fully fitted: a complete bathroom with toilet, shower, and sink, a working kitchen with cabinets, countertop, and sink, and 110V electrical already run with a breaker panel, outlets, and lighting in place. Both bedrooms are part of the factory build — you're not adding a partition wall yourself.
At $28,299, the price includes DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) shipping to your US address. Customs duties and freight are already covered — there's no import bill waiting for you after delivery. What's left is the site work, which we lay out clearly below so you know exactly what to plan for before you order.
