The Cockahoop Grand is our largest model — a 40ft expandable container home with three full bedrooms, built for families who need real space and want to get there without traditional new-construction costs or timelines.
The Grand is built for larger households: families with kids who each need their own room, multi-generational households, and land owners in the Central Valley, Texas, and Florida who've compared container homes against site-built construction and want the most home for the money. It's our top-of-line layout, but the same practical, no-frills philosophy applies — this is a solid family home, not a luxury product.
Setup follows the same process as every Cockahoop model, scaled up for a larger unit. Your Grand arrives folded down on a flatbed truck. Because it's our largest and heaviest model, arranging the right crane or forklift matters — we send exact weight and lifting specifications well ahead of your delivery date so you can book equipment rated for the job. Once positioned on your prepared pad or foundation, the structural shell unfolds into its full three-bedroom layout — this expansion step uses lifting equipment and a small crew. From there, you or your local contractor connect water, electrical, and sewer/septic, guided by the included circuit diagram and installation instructions.
Inside, the Grand ships fully fitted from the factory: a complete bathroom with toilet, shower, and sink, a full kitchen with cabinets, countertop, and sink, and 110V electrical already run, with a breaker panel, outlets, and lighting installed throughout. All three bedrooms are part of the manufactured build.
At $46,899, the price includes DDP (Delivered Duty Paid) shipping to your US address. Customs duties and freight are already covered in that number — no import bill shows up later.
